The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International recently held its annual North America show, and AMREL was
Robotics System Joint Project Office (RSJPO) there! In addition to our booth showing off AMREL’s new interoperable payload controller, AMREL’s OCU solutions were displayed by a multitude of vendors, including:

- Cobham
- DRS Technologies, Inc
- Mesa Technologies Inc
- Harris Corporation
- Stratom, Inc.
- and many others
Bigger is NOT better seemed to be the show’s theme, as vendors competed in showing off Small Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems/Tier II (STUAS) and Small Unmanned Ground Vehicles and (SUGV). Mike Castillo, AMREL’s Senior Applications Architect for Robotics, was especially impressed with the capabilities of iRobot’s 110 FirstLook.
