Compact, Multi-Security Reader 7” Windows Biometric Tablet
BIOPTIX PM3B is the world’s first tablet that can read Machine Readable Zone data. Designed for passport control officers, border security personnel, law enforcement professionals, and other field operatives, its high-performance 508-dpi fingerprint scanner is FBI-certified for FAP20/45. BIOPTIX PM3B also has capabilities for NFC, MSR, 2D barcode, and 8MP camera.
Barely 2 lbs. and an inch thick, the mobile BIOPTIX PM3B tablet doesn’t skimp on ruggedness. Intended for use in harsh environments, its built tough with Gorilla glass as well as MIL-STD 810G and IP-65 ratings.
Options for WiFi, Bluetooth, and Cellular enable real-time communications wherever you go. Patrol management and tracking is easy with the GPS/GLONASS capabilities
Even in direct sunlight, the super-bright 850-nit 7” display is clearly legible. Anti-reflective/anti-fingerprint coating and advanced optical bonding technology grants exceptional visibility.
Enhanced security options include an encrypted SSD with FIPS 140-2 certification as well as a one-button emergency SSD erase that utilizes Phoenix SecureWipe technology. Janus USB ignition key authenticates users by combining BIOS cloud services and physical token.
