BIOPTIX PX5 10.1” fully-rugged tablet is a mobile biometric solution designed for law enforcement professionals, border security personnel, passport control officers, and other field operatives.
Energy efficiency balanced with performance
RaptorLake 13th generation Intel® Core™ i5-1335UE, 10-core, up to 4.5GHz turbo processor and redesigned power management enables long battery life without sacrificing processing speed. Extended battery option allows for up to 23 hours of operation. Hot swappable batteries also support fast charging. For a more economical CPU option, users can opt for the Intel® Core™ U300E, 5-core, up to 4.3GHz processor.
Multiple functions on the go
Identify and enroll in the field with high-performance FBI-certified FAP20/30 single or FAP45 single/dual fingerprint scanners. Other sensor options include smart card reader (CAC), MRZ reader, and integrated 2D barcode reader with OCR capabilities. Easy-to-customize Snap-on connector gives you even more choices.
Visibility in all conditions
With a 1000-nit rating, BIOPTIX PX5’s high-resolution, optically bonded WUXGA (1920×1200) Full HD display is sunlight readable even in the brightest light. Hyper dimming technology enables adaptation to darker ambient-light conditions. Ten-point capacitive touchscreen supports glove touch, water rejection, and palm rejection.

WiFi 6E 802.11ax, Bluetooth V5.3, 4G LTE / 5G, GNSS, and other communication options enable precise positioning, broader coverage, and stable data transfer.
Enhanced security
Customized one-button push function quickly erases SSD data during emergencies by leveraging Phoenix’s SecureWipe. Janus USB ignition key authenticates users by combining BIOS cloud services and physical token. Trusted Platform Module (TPM 2.0) provides additional security.
